- My experience with twitter have been amazing. Twitter is such a good app and social media application because it's so simple, easy to use and you can learn so much about different topics and events by just scrolling down your feed and that's pretty much it. On my personal twitter, I follow a lot of sports news, politics and entertainment sites. You can read something so important without really having to look for it. It's all just on the feed as you scroll. I also like that you can turn notifications on for certain accounts when they tweet something. For example, if my professor had a twitter account and used it to update students on assignments, etc. Twitter will notify you when they tweet to keep you updated.

- The web design assignment didn't really bother me much. I am just so happen to be taking a web development class currently. So I used the program we use for that class to create our websites and coding, to help me with our assignment in EME2040. I won't lie though, if I wasn't taking my web development class, it would have probably been a lot more frustrating and harder to put the site together. Even though this assignment had nothing to do with coding, being able to do so and create your own site is very beneficial and could get you a long ways depending on what work field you are in.

- In high school, I had a class with a student who was legally blind. Although he was legally blind, he could see very little but enough to see a text book or the board that was projected with powerpoints or lectures. He had his own desk at the very front of the class with a monitor attached to it that the teacher would hook an hdmi port to the monitor to project what was on the board and what the rest of the class was looking at. I don't see any issues with adaptive technology at all. If you need it, it helps a lot for those in need as it makes learning much easier.

My name is Kevin Dacruz. I am 21 year old senior here at Florida State University. I am originally from a small town in Connecticut, but moved to Tampa FL as a kid and grew up most of my life there. Whether it was using a computer for an AR test in elementary school, checking out books in the library, or if it was my math teachers using smart boards and elmos for lectures. The smart boards are probably the most advanced technology piece I remember seeing. A lot of my teachers also used a good amount of powerpoints to teach class. In this class I hope to learn how to use different types of programs and technologies I never was familiar with, as well as being able to use it in the educational fashion.

As a communications major here at Florida State, I've grown to learn how essential and beneficial one can be by communicating in the right manner. Something I feel that should be taught more in todays schools maybe starting at the 8th or 9th grade level is communicating properly, and by that I mean knowing how to respond to a certain question or statement using the right words, and how to ask a question or statement when needed. I think public speaking is essential to anyone in life no matter what career one is trying to pursue. Having students make powerpoint presentations and presenting them in class is ideal and really can break a students shell of being shy and being able to talk out loud to anyone and about anything. One thing I think needs learning are bigger words that aren't in the average persons vocabulary on a daily basis. Learning to use bigger words and expanding your vocabulary can really make a difference when talking to someone no matter what the topic is about.

    - This is a screen shot of the main homepage from the High school that I attended. On this page, students and parents can navigate around the page to find out much information on many different things. As you can see, there is a tab for athletics, faculty and staff, which is where you can find contacts for every employee at the school. There is also a programs tab which shows the many different classes and academic programs the school has to offer. There is also a calendar and a resources tab which can you show you the lunch menu for the week and much more. - Using technology will be a huge part of my future career, and really anyone's future career. As a communication major, I am currently learning how to code websites and learning how to web design. I also am decent at excel and plan on getting better at it as I feel like in today's corporate world, are two huge good things to be good at doing.
