    - This is a screen shot of the main homepage from the High school that I attended. On this page, students and parents can navigate around the page to find out much information on many different things. As you can see, there is a tab for athletics, faculty and staff, which is where you can find contacts for every employee at the school. There is also a programs tab which shows the many different classes and academic programs the school has to offer. There is also a calendar and a resources tab which can you show you the lunch menu for the week and much more. - Using technology will be a huge part of my future career, and really anyone's future career. As a communication major, I am currently learning how to code websites and learning how to web design. I also am decent at excel and plan on getting better at it as I feel like in today's corporate world, are two huge good things to be good at doing. Social media designing is also something I am interested in. In today'

https://voicethread.com/share/12184178/ For this project I used Adobe photoshop. I don't have the full version of photoshop so I couldn't show as much detail as I could, but I explained the best I could. According to my previous professor, he used photoshop to lecture and show slides for advertising as it was easier for him to use, and also he could edit pictures better to show different advertising techniques he would use, then show what actual big companies are targeting.
- I haven't used Diigo enough to really give much an opinion about it. However, from what I know about it so far seems pretty cool and it seems like a very convenient site. Diigo looks like it would be even more of a helpful site if it wasn't being used for an online class especially. - I personally like blogging and think it's a cool and quick way to get ideas and thoughts out. Blogger to be specific is easy to use and if not using for class, is a good way to express yourself and express your thoughts to people if not to know one. I know a lot of people who just blogs kind of as just a diary kind of thing and just express their feelings which is pretty cool. - LinkedIn is a very good web tool in my opinion. As a senior in college, I've used LinkedIn a very good amount within the last year or so setting up my account and making it look as good as possible. LinkedIn is good because it is a very easy way to communicate with possible future employers when you're in
- I started using twitter in middle school, and have it since 2010. At first I used it as a way to see what my favorite athletes were tweeting just because I was interested in their everyday lives. As I got older into high school, I used it as a way to interact with friends and joke around. Now, I use it more as a news feed. I rely on twitter for daily news whether it's politics, economics, sports and also I use it as entertainment (memes). I am also a degenerate sports gambler so I use it to see what professional sports cappers are picking. - When it comes to digital divide, I think it plays a huge roll in student success. Personally, I think I would be drastically a lot less educated if social media was never a thing. Or if I didn't have daily access to the internet. Causes of digital divide can just be as simple as not being able to afford internet, or a laptop/computer. As a teacher I feel like you would have to make your teaching methods applicable to both those students

As a communications major here at Florida State, I've grown to learn how essential and beneficial one can be by communicating in the right manner. Something I feel that should be taught more in todays schools maybe starting at the 8th or 9th grade level is communicating properly, and by that I mean knowing how to respond to a certain question or statement using the right words, and how to ask a question or statement when needed. I think public speaking is essential to anyone in life no matter what career one is trying to pursue. Having students make powerpoint presentations and presenting them in class is ideal and really can break a students shell of being shy and being able to talk out loud to anyone and about anything. One thing I think needs learning are bigger words that aren't in the average persons vocabulary on a daily basis. Learning to use bigger words and expanding your vocabulary can really make a difference when talking to someone no matter what the topic is about.
